Writesonic: the budget product description writing software
Writesonic is a GPT-3 enabled writing assistant for generating long-form content and short-form content. Although Writesonic’s strength lies in writing essays and blog posts, it’s one of the best product description writing software out there.
It took me some time to know this because due to my trust in Copysmith, I easily dismissed others for some time.
At some point, when I was working on a review for a client, I had to try its product description template, and I was blown. But let’s take a holistic view of this by reviewing its features.

Between Writesonic and Copysmith, I’d say the difference is that Writesonic is all about long-form content while Copysmith is all about eCommerce.
But my observation is that both offer high-quality content for eCommerce stores.
Integration with Surfer SEO
One of the best things that have happened with Writesonic these days is its integration with Surfer SEO. Even if you’re only writing product descriptions, you’ll still want to optimize them for search engines.
That way, when people search for your product on Google, it will be among the first to appear. In case you don’t know, Surfer SEO is an SEO optimization and website auditing tool.
It’s one of the best out there and I’ve used it on several occasions. I trust it.
Blog post creation
This is the best thing you could use Writesonic for. Even before its integration with Surfer SEO, its articles ranked high on Google.
It also writes other forms of essays, but it’s mostly targeted at bloggers and content marketing teams. Its outputs are great and its blog posts require a minimal amount of editing to get them up.

Copy AI is an artificial intelligence-powered writing assistant. It is, as you are probably aware, one of the most popular in the market, and for good reason.
For starters, it has one of the most competitive pricing plans on the market. Second, it is simple to use and includes numerous templates for various use cases.
Copy AI is best suited for social media posts, but it's also excellent at writing emails, product descriptions, and blog posts.

Every single piece of content you create on Copy AI comes with other variations ranging from five to ten. The only exception to this is the blog post template.
Otherwise, you’ll have various options to choose from, which is a huge advantage.

In pricing plans, Copy AI is pretty fair. You can get a freemium plan of free 2,000 words per month. The downside to this is that you can’t write a blog post on this plan.
The only other plan costs $49 per month and it gives you unlimited words as well as several other exclusive features.
You can also go for an enterprise plan which allows you to customize the app further.
Rytr
Rytr is an AI copywriting platform for generating all sorts of short-form content, ranging from product descriptions to social media content and ads.
Unlike most of its alternatives here, Rytr doesn’t generate any form of long-form content and doesn’t have as many templates. This helps make your choice really easy.

Rytr has a template for product description writing. But the content quality is average and I don’t really recommend it.
However, you may decide to use it because it’s the cheapest and that’ll certainly be appealing under some circumstances.

I used to generate social media content on general occasions. Aside from the fact that the content quality is abysmally low, it also happens to lump several social media together under the same template.

This plagiarism detector is the one thing I like about Rytr. For one thing, it’s completely free. But I’d say why would anyone be bothered about plagiarism if the content isn’t even that good in the first place?

Peppertype is an AI content creation tool for multiple use cases. It’s mostly for generating short-form content.
If you’re on a shoestring budget for your product description writing software, this is the one I’d recommend. Why?
Because it’s as cheap as Rytr but offers some value in terms of content quality. But let’s take a look at what it has to offer you.

Anyword is a copywriting tool backed by AI. This is the one I like to refer to as the king of ads due to certain features. But it’s also a powerful product description generator, and I’ll show you why.

With almost no limit whatsoever, Jasper’s content is good. As for the quality of its content, I prefer a lot of other platforms including Copy AI and Writesonic.
But let’s assess its features.

On product description writing, Jasper does a good job. In my experience, Japer’s product descriptions are quite average.
This is because I was drawn to Jasper because of the glossy reviews it had on writing blog posts. Upon trying it, however, I was badly disappointed.
I tried several things yet the content was as bad as it could get. I believe that many people got what they were looking for with it, but it didn’t work for me.

The quality was so annoying and bad I saved the image you’re seeing above with “Jasper text.” And this is why I didn’t bother about the product description.
Long-form content
Jasper owes its popularity to writing blog posts. And like I said above, it’s why I paid $59 to access it. But I didn’t get the value for my money.
I will not recommend it.
